Basic Entry Requirements

General Entry Requirements for HND Programme (Direct Entry)

SSSCE Applicants: passes (A-D) in three (3) core subjects namely English Language, Mathematics and Integrated science; and must possess a minimum of D in any three (3) relevant electives.
WASSCE Candidates: passes (A1-D7) in three (3) core subjects namely English Language, Mathematics and Integrated science; and must possess a minimum of C6 in any three (3) relevant electives.
GBCE/ABCE/A’LEVEL/O’LEVEL Candidates: Six (6) GBCE/GCE’O’ – Level Credit passes (including English Language and Mathematics) Plus at three (3) of the passes in science related subjects

Entry requirement for Certificate holders

Applicants must have certificate in Animal Health and Production and have completed national service. In addition, certificate holders must have the Minimum Entry Requirements at WASSCE/SSSCE or Five (5) credit passes at GCE O’ Level including English Language and Mathematics. Candidates with Cumulative Grade Point Average (C.G.P.A) 3.00 and above may be considered into HND level 200.

International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE): Applicants should have credit passes in five (5) GCE ‘O’ Level subjects (including English and Mathematics) and three (3) passes in the relevant subjects at the Advanced Level.
International Baccalaureate (IB): Applicants should have a minimum of grade 4 at the Higher Level in three (3) subjects relevant to the programme of choice (minimum of grade 5 for Health and Allied Sciences). Applicants should, in addition, have a minimum of grade 4 in English/Literature and Mathematics (SL).
American High School Grade 12 Examinations. Applicants should have a Final Grade point of 3.0.

General Entry Requirements for Diploma Programme (Direct Entry)

SSSCE Applicants: passes (A-E) in three (3) core subjects namely English Language, Mathematics and Integrated science; and must possess a minimum of D in any two (2) relevant electives.
WASSCE Candidates:passes (A1-E8) in three (3) core subjects namely English Language, Mathematics and Integrated science; and must possess a minimum of D7 in any two (2) relevant electives.
GBCE/ABCE/A’LEVEL/O’LEVEL Candidates:Six (6) GBCE/GCE’O’ – Level Credit passes (including English Language and Mathematics) Plus at two (2) of the passes in science related subjects

Entry requirement for Certificate holders

Applicants must have TVET certificate in Animal Health and Production.

General Entry Requirements for TVET Certificate Programme (Direct Entry)

SSSCE Applicants: passes (A-E) in two (2) core subjects namely English Language, Mathematics and Integrated science or Social studies; and must possess a minimum of one (1)E in any relevant electives.
WASSCE Candidates: passes (A1-E8) in three (3) core subjects namely English Language, Mathematics and Integrated science or Social studies; and must possess a minimum of one(1) E8 in any relevant electives.

Entry Requirements for Mature TVET Applicants

Applicants must be twenty-five (25) years old and must show proof of age with birth certificate or any legitimate documentary proof of date of birth which is five (5) years old at the time of application.

Must pass a written examination and an interview to be conducted by the College.
Must provide evidence of at least two (2) years’ work experience.
